I have a lot to say on this topic since I’m a home maker with a 5 mo. old and we are living off only my husbands income. First, I feel its important to prioritize. God, Husband, Family, then everything else. We spend so much time worrying about our job, our lack of income and our bills that we forget how we are so truly blessed with what we have. If we stop thanking God for the blessings we get everyday, he just may stop giving them to us. Ladies, we need to get off our husband’s backs. When we stress, we tend to let the ones we love most feel the brunt of it. And plus, in this economic crises divorce is too expensive …lol.
So you ask, “How do we get back on top in our household”? Well jobs come and they go. Lately they’ve been doing a lot more going. So it’s time to cash in on your skill. (i.e) if you are wonderful with children maybe it’s time to open a daycare. Grant money and the state take care of all expenses. You can do this all right out of your home and stay home with your children at the same time. People will always have babies. Which means you will always have a job.
“Cutting back”
It’s time to cut back. Going out to eat and fast food is the number one expense in America. Yes, it’s nice but not necessary. Using the recipes provided and bargain shopping will cut down cost. ( ramen noodles, a green pepper, onion, and sausage.) Make a GREAT meal. And cost about $3-$4. Ladies, if we pack a lunch for our men they don’t have to spend $8-$12 on lunch every day.
Valentines day is coming and we need to make some sacrifices. Tell your man that this year you don’t want anything but some quality time…..Yes I said nothing! For you ladies who just read that and responded….”What?!?! NOTHING?!?!” Your spoiled! Stop it! It’s all over rated and we need to be grateful for what we have in our man. He should be enough! Just him!
It’s time ladies to stop the over priced spas, massages, salons (nail/hair), and botox. No one cares what you look like when you’re homeless. Take the time and do it yourself. Get the Walgreens polish out of the drawer, shake it up and file your own crusty feet. Get that blow dryer and curling iron from under your sink and bust out your own napps. And that massage, ask your husband to do it for you. You just may get a happy ending. And that my dears is priceless.
In this economic crises it’s time for humility. It’s time to keep it real, cuz our bank accounts are keeping it real with us. We have 2 choices. Prideful in a cardboard box, or humble in our home.
If I have offended anyone by what I have said…..get over it! Stop being spoiled and humble yourself….:)
