Occupation: Author, Speaker & Integrative Coach (currently) Favorite thing to do with the kids: Depends on which of my kiddos I am spending time with? Grady and I like to go jogging and run 5K's together. Madison and I like to go shopping and bake together. Ivan and I like to tickle and read books together. Favorite Restaurant: Sushiya in Gilbert Favorite TV show: (yours & kids) Amazing Race & Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Madison and I watch these together and I cry every time. Grady loves the Simpsons and personally, I am not a big fan of the show. If I am watching TV with my husband, Mike, we watch House or just about anything on the Food Network Channel. Favorite Book: The Dark Side of the Light Chasers by Debbie Ford Favorite Movie: The Kid Favorite Recipe: My Strawberry Salad Favorite Vacation: Anywhere with warm sand between my toes, ocean waves splashing on the beach and nothing on my to-do list Favorite food: Anything my husband prepares for me especially his spaghetti with meat sauce Favorite drink: Iced Grande Black & White Mocha with no whip (Hmmm, can you guess where that is from It only took me 5 years to learn how to order it correctly!) or Orange Mint Water from Metro Mint (the best tasting water around!) Favorite color: green Most embarrassing moment: You want just one! I was interviewing for my first teaching job in July, here in Arizona. I wore a long navy blue rayon skirt with a white blouse. I was sweating profusely because I was so dang nervous and it was so dang hot. Thinking the interview went fairly well, I got up to shake the principals hand and as I did I noticed the seat I had been sitting in was slightly wet. On my way out I noticed that the back of my skirt and shirt were visibly soaking wet. (No, I didn't get the job.) Favorite place to go for help: My bathtub with lit candles and my journal. The secret for being the best mom: Don't try to be the best mom, there is no such thing. Any words of wisdom or advice: Listen to your inner wisdom, it will never steer you in the wrong direction.
