Who do we listen to about what our job is? For me the big thing is I had to work through creative memories. Or any kind of memory scrapbook. I’m not a crafty person. I just don’t like to do that and all my friends are doing that and I’m thinking my kids will be the only ones that don’t have a scrapbook.

The secret for being the best mom: Listen when everyone else is talking, you learn a lot about what your children are feeling. Also make sure your children know and feel you love them.
Words of Wisdom: Don’t sweat the small stuff – choose your battles carefully. Enjoy each stage of motherhood because even though they feel like forever they pass by quickly.
Advice: 1. Keep a small note book or set of recipe cards in your kitchen window to write cute, tender or funny things down. When we are young we trust our memories and before we know it something funny happens and we can’t remember. These things are too precious so forget. Another thing I remember is from a wise mother of five. She said the following in reference to some of the surprises that we all get as mothers, "You can either laugh or cry, and crying gives me a headache!" Keep humor in your daily experience.
