It would be so easy for me just to go make the beds.  And it takes 10 times as long to get them to make the beds.  But that’s my job.  It’s not my job to make the bed, it’s my job to make them make the bed.

Favorite Prayer Shawl Pattern

Print PDF
Use Lion Brand’s Homespun yarn (3 skeins) and a size 13 needle.  Cast on 57 stitches.

Knit the first 3 rows.

Beginning on row 4, knit 3, purl 3, end with knit 3.  Continue in pattern until almost all yarn is gone.

Knit last 3 rows.

If you want to add fringes, take or save enough yarn to do so.

(This is my very favorite pattern, it’s easy and looks beautiful and because there’s so many wonderful colors, I don’t get bored!)
